Introduction: When I started out knight, I had a lot of trouble deciding what to do with my build, and was curious of where this class would take me.

There aren't a lot of knight/templar guides out there so I wanted to make one for people who are curious about trying out knights.

Why Encouraging shout and not weapon blocking/Skilled Mastery/Magic Armor: Because you are a tank class.

You want anything that gives you more HP or more defense; Evasion isn't as good at an added 1% compared to an extra 2% HP, Magic armor isn't good because most monsters use physical attacks, making this buff lose most of it's usefulness (That Might change in PVP, but even so it would only work on the magic class anyway.)

And skilled sword mastery isn't good because you’re meant to be a tanker, not an attacker; trying to do both gets you "Jack of all trades" IE "Master of nothing" Which defeats the purpose of being a knight.
